For more than 85 years the Rockingham Council for Bible Education (RCBE) has made Bible education available in public schools in Rockingham County at no cost to the taxpayer. This is an elective opportunity for students to learn more about the Bible, its contents, and its relevance for today. Students and their parents or guardians may choose whether to take these elective courses.

As a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status, the RCBE is funded by interested individuals and churches throughout the local community. The sole mission of RCBE is to provide funding for the Bible Bus Program and for qualified, trained teachers.
