The Dan Valley Missionary Baptist Association exists to build healthy churches and cooperate in a single mission. Because mission funding is made possible through the faithful generosity of our churches, each request is treated as a shared process of prayerful discernment, not simply an application for financial assistance.
As you complete this form, please help us understand the mission being proposed, the need being addressed, and the team entrusted with carrying it out. Requests will be considered according to three primary questions:
How does this mission help build healthy churches and reflect our cooperative calling?
Why is this mission needed in this place at this time?
Does the team have the leadership, partnerships, and accountability needed to carry the mission faithfully?
Funding decisions will be based on mission alignment, contextual priority, demonstrated capacity, and faithful stewardship of shared resources. As a matter of policy, Association funds are not dispersed for travel or lodging expenses, but are instead directed toward the direct impact of the mission itself.
If funding is granted, recipients will be asked to submit a brief post-mission reflection sharing what was learned, how people were served, and how the church or community was strengthened.
All applications must be sponsored by the applicant's home church. Please allow 4-6 weeks for prayerful review and discernment.
