L.O.T. 2540 is a local ministry dedicated to aiding and rehabilitating the impoverished in Rockingham County. The ministry takes its name from Matthew 25:40, which says, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Taking these words of Jesus to heart and putting them into action, L.O.T. 2540 operates an architectural salvage store, where they sell recycled building materials from numerous cleared properties in Greensboro, a resale store called LOTS of Treasures Thrift Shoppe, and a Soup Kitchen called The Well. They also maintain a food pantry and host a non-denominational worship service on Saturday mornings.
